Since their entry to the League of Ireland in 1951 they secured the first of their nine league titles in their maiden season. They have also gathered three FAI Cups and four League Cup victories in this period. The club was founded in 1929 and after a single year in the Phoenix Park, the club have been based in nearby Richmond Park since 1930.
Since their formation the club have always played in a red and white strip and under manager Stephen O’Donnell will be looking to move closer to the European spots at the top of the table which they narrowly missed out on last term.
