Munster Rugby is one of the four professional provincial rugby teams in Ireland. They were officially founded in 1879,
They compete in the Pro14 and the European Rugby Champions Cup. The team motto is “To the brave and faithful, nothing is impossible.” This is derived from the motto of the MacCarthy clan – “Forti et Fideli nihil difficile”.
Their main home ground is Thomond Park, Limerick, though some games are played at Musgrave Park, Cork.
Munster have 3 pro 14 titles and two European Cups to their name
The kit consists of White, Red, Navy and Blue.
Leinster come good in Inter-pro Derby
Munster saw their hopes for a home quarter-final dashed, as they fell to an under-strength Leinster in a 35-25 thriller at Aviva Stadium in the United Rugby Championship.
