Old Belvedere have the opportunity to join City of Armagh in Division 1A next season as they confirmed their place in a promotion playoffs with Highfield and Old Wesley, while Banbridge are headed for a dreaded relegation play-off

The final round of All-Ireland Division 1B is upon us with permutations at the top and bottom of the table. Old Belvedere, Highfield and Buccaneers will be fighting out for a promotion playoff while it’s do or die at the bottom for UCC, Banbridge and Malone.

City of Armagh have secured promotion with a game to spare, while at the bottom it’s do or die for three teams in a fortnight as just four points separates eight to tenth; UCC, Banbridge and Malone.

In the penultimate round of action in All-Ireland Division 1B, the action is heating up with important games at the top and bottom of the table. Just five points separate the top two, City of Armagh and Old Belvedere, while only eight points split the bottom three.

In a dramatic round of 1B action, Banbridge kept their survival hopes alive with a narrow victory over Malone while at the top City of Armagh suffered a shock loss but so did Buccaneers and Old Belvedere who failed to make up ground.
