AIL Preview: Women’s Division Round 8
Following a week’s break, the Women’s Division of the Energia All Ireland League returns this week with four games down for decision. Fourth spot will be a closely fought battle this weekend, Old Belvedere, Galwegians and Wicklow can all stake their claim in this Round of action.

As we tick towards a third of the way through the season in the Energia All Ireland League Women’s Division, leaders Railway Union aim to preserve top spot and keep their unbeaten run alive this weekend, while Wicklow and UL Bohemian meet in a contender for game of the weekend.

Wanderers have a five point lead at the summit of Division 2B of the Energia All Ireland League going into this weekend and face an away trip to Malahide, all of the chasing pack in the top four will be looking to close the gap, two of which are at home.

Approaching a third of the way through the season, Railway Union continued their unbeaten run to five games, while UL Bohs continued to apply pressure in second. Elsewhere Suttonians picked up a hard earned win over Galwegians late on to keep their top four hopes alive.
