AIL Preview: Women’s Division Round 1
Two blockbuster ties mark the beginning of the Energia All Ireland League Women’s Division season. UL Bohemian travel to take on Blackrock College, while Railway Union and Old Belvedere meet in a colossal local derby. History will be made at The Black Gates as Tullow make their first AIL appearance.

The final round of action in the AIL Women’s Division had plenty of drama while UL Bohemian and Railway Union ended the normal season with wins as they meet on April 28th in the decider. Galwegians and Wicklow also recorded final day wins.

With just two rounds left of the regular Women’s AIL season, second-placed Railway Union moved six points clear of Old Belvedere in the race to reach next month’s final at the Aviva Stadium. UL Bohemian confirmed already to have made one of those spots as mathematically they cannot be caught.
