It has been a competitive season so far in the Women’s Division of the Energia All Ireland League, and with the weeks ticking by to secure a semi-final place, the action starts to heat up. Wicklow have the chance to close the gap to the top four again this weekend, as Old Belvedere look to make it eight wins in a row to keep them at bay.

The top four all recorded bonus point wins as the Energia All Ireland League Women’s Division made its return at the weekend. Railway continue to hold top spot with UL Bohemian on their tail. Cooke almost ended their losing streak in a hard fought tie with Wicklow elsewhere.

Wanderers sit six points clear at the summit of Division 2B of the All Ireland League, as they recorded victory in the derby with Skerries. UL Bohemian climbed back in the promotion places, while Galwegians continued to pick up wins after a tough start to the season.
