AIL Roundup: Men’s Promotion/Relegation Finals
Nenagh Ormond will play Division 1A rugby in the Energia All-Ireland League for the very first time next season, after a stunning late comeback secured a dramatic win over UCC. Dungannon also earned promotion, moving up to Division 2A, while Trinity and Skerries confirmed their places in Division 1B and 2B respectively after thrilling victories. Meanwhile, Thomond capped a memorable season by sealing their return to All-Ireland League rugby, overcoming Omagh Academicals on the road.

A weekend of dramatic semi-final action, saw Clontarf and Cork Con advance to the Division 1A Final, while elsewhere, City Of Armagh were relegated to 1B. The Play-Off Finals will be sure to be filled with drama as some fight to stay up, others to move up.

Plenty of high scoring clashes and drama across the weekend’s rescheduled clashes in the Energia All Ireland League. Ballincollig ended a ten game losing streak in the Women’s Division, while Clontarf now hold top spot in Division 1A. Elsewhere Instonians continue to lead Division 2A, with further wins for Ulster sides in 2B and 2C with Clogher Valley and Ballyclare picking up points.
