Sligo Rovers virtually guaranteed their Premier Division survival with a late goal from substitute Stefan Radosavljevic as they all but ended 10 man Derry's title hopes in the process.

In a game that lacked a lot in the way of quality Sligo can thank their lucky stars that Richard Brush wasn't penalised for a wild challenge in the box with fifteen minutes on the clock.

With ten minutes to play Derry hit the self destruct button as Ronan Boyce saw his second yellow card, his exit from the field of play causing a coming together between both benchs in the tunnel area.

As the game drew to a close Sligo found a bit of space in the Derry half, a cross from the right found it's way to Radosavljevic at the back post who made no mistake and found the back of the net past Brian Maher to send the crowd wild and ease the relegation tension on the Sligo bench.
