Athlone then go right up and have a good chance of their own. Louis and Perrot combine which culminates in the latter working a decent chance from a tight space and getting a shot off. Fires just wide.

Good chance for Waterford. Griffin slips through Power from a free and he drills it across for Phillips, who misses at the back post.

Athlone have a penalty claim waved away. Louis plays Pierrot through and he's taken down by Nolan. Given some of the fouls that have been given in this match already, that decision is a bit surprising.

Now Aouachria bends one just wide from outside the box with his left foot. Waterford look dangerous every time.

Waterford looking very sharp. Minogue just had to deny Coughlin at his near post.

Good chance for Athlone. Connolly and Campion Hinds combine well on the left and the latter finds Hickey with good cross. The American connects well and heads down, but Paul Martin pulls off a good save.
