Easily the best player on the pitch this evening Mark Doyle meets Conor Kane's cross after a surging run and Doyle's header nestles in the back of the Drogheda United net and virtually ensures all three points will be headed back to Drogheda this evening.

Great work from Grimes gets an crossing opportunity for Kirk to swing in a cross but it's knocked out for a corner. Two quickfire corners sees a Longford head meet the cross and questions over whether the keeper kept the ball from crossing the line. Not too many appeals from Longford and the referees signals play on.

Chris Lyons doubles the advantage for Drogheda as fantastic work in down the right hand side between Markey, Doyle and Browne sees the full back cross the ball and a positioning error from Steacy gives Lyons an easy finish under no pressure from the edge of the box.
