It was a very even first 45, few chances for either teams, scrappy midfield battles dominated most of the playtime. But a strong run from Corbet supplied the opening for Murphy to put Wexford into the lead heading into the second period

Shot by O'Gorman on the edge of the area is straight at Keenan who is able to make the rather easy stop

Now Reynolds has a go from range for Rovers, but while the shot had the power, it lacked the direction to trouble Keegan in the Wexford goal

Strike by O'Kane a little more definite than her last from a similar position, but it loops over the bar and Rovers stay a goal behind

The was slightly against the run of play, as the tide seemed to be turning in Rovers favour, but Corbet showed the danger she possesses with her pace in behind
