In their previous meeting, Wexford thrashed Bohemians 7-1 at Ferrycarrig Park, courtesy of goals from Kim Flood, Ainsley Frawley, a Yvonne Hedigan own goal and braces from Lauren Kelly and Murphy.

Kylie Murphy and teenage sensation Ellen Molloy have been key players this campaign, scoring eight goals each making the Youths the top scorers in the division. Wexford have won their last five and haven’t tasted defeat in 13 matches, making them strong favourites for this afternoon’s affair.

Title rivals Shelbourne and Peamount are level on points at the summit and both have a game in hand on the Youths.

In contrast, Wexford have enjoyed a fine campaign and are just one point off top spot but know they must continue their rich vein of form, if they are to be lifting the title at the end of the season.

Bohemians have struggled in front of goal and are the league’s joint lowest scorers with just 16 goals. They are heavily reliant on forwards Erica Burke and Chloe Darby who both have four goals each but other players have struggled to chip in.

Bohemians lie in seventh position on eight points from 12 games and are in a poor run of form, picking up just four points from their last four matches. The hosts come into the game off the back of a 2-0 away defeat to Peamount, which inflicted back-to-back defeats for Sean Byrne’s side.
