Going into the mid-season break, Clontarf regained their spot at the top of Division 1A, after a 17-0 away victory over Garryowen, but title rivals Lansdowne remain hot on their heels after their win.

Round nine of the Energia Division 1A All-Ireland league kicks off this Saturday, with all five matches kicking off at 2:30pm.

There are now no unbeaten Division 1A All-Ireland teams after Young Munster’s 33-17 loss at home to Clontarf, has thrown the title race wide open.
