Round 10 of the Energia All-Ireland Division 1A got underway on Saturday afternoon, with a number of high-scoring games to savour.
Clontarf maintained their possession at the top of the table, while Lansdowne kept pace with their rivals after a dominant win against Ballynahinch.
Clontarf 36-7 Garryowen, Castle Avenue
Dylan Donnellan crossed the line twice, as Clontarf cruised to a bonus-point 36-7 win against Garryowen at Castle Avenue.
Among the try scorers for the hosts were Michael Courtney, Angus Lloyd and Alex Soroka, with David Hawkshaw adding 11 points from the kicking tee.
Lansdowne 47-17 Ballynahinch, Lansdowne Road
Lansdowne kept pace with Clontarf at the top of Division 1A after a bonus point victory against Ballynahinch at Lansdowne Road.
The game proved to be a mismatch from the outset as Lansdowne cruised into halftime with a 33-3 lead.
Tenenure College 13-6 Cork Constitution, Lakelands
Craig Adams’ two tries proved to be the difference as Terenure College edged Cork Constitution 13-6 at the Lakelands.
Luke Clohessy’s huge turnover at the death gifted Terenure College victory, and handed the hosts their second win against Cork Constitution this year.
Young Munster 27-20 UCD, Tom Clifford Park
A late try from replacement Patrick Campbell in the dying seconds gifted Young Munster a crucial bonus point 27-20 victory at Tom Clifford Park.
The game was on a knife edge throughout as Young Munster lead 15-10 before the break, before UCD raced back into a 20-15 lead until Jason Kiely tied the game 60 minutes in. Campbell heroics at the end gave Young Munster the five points.
UCC 0-53 Dublin University, The Mardyke
Dublin University cruised to a 0-53 victory away to UCC at the Mardyke in Division 1A.
The game was as good as over at half-time after Dublin University raced out of the blocks to claim a 0-22 lead at the break, thanks to tries from Louis O’Reilly, Louis Macdonagh and Rob Russell.
