With just five games of the season left, Old Belvedere now sit 12 points clear at the top of the Division 1B of the Energia All Ireland League, as Nenagh Ormond suffered defeat to Queen’s at the weekend. Old Wesley and Blackrock College both secured wins to increase their hopes of a play-off place.

AIL Preview: Division 1B Round 13

The action from Division 1B of the Energia All Ireland League gets underway on Friday this weekend, with Naas taking on Trinity. Round 13 promises to be exciting, with Old Wesley, Blackrock and UCC all seeking wins for their respective promotion charges. Queen’s, Naas and Trinity could also make it more interesting with a win this weekend.

AIL Roundup: Division 1B Round 12

With two thirds of the season now completed in Division 1B of the Energia All Ireland League, Old Belvedere continue to make strides in the hopes of collecting silverware. No movers in the table after the round, Trinity picked up points and the Dudley Cup with a win over UCC.

AIL Roundup: Division 1B Round 11

After Nenagh dropped points on the road to Naas, Old Belvedere have an increased lead at the summit in Division 1B of the Energia All Ireland League. A strong second half from UCC saw them defeat Blackrock and cut the gap to top four down to a single point. Queen’s and Naas both moved up the table with impressive wins.

Division 1B of the Energia All Ireland League made a dramatic return at the weekend, with the first round of 2025 bringing plenty of thrills and spills across the four derby games. Blackrock and Old Wesley furthered their promotion hopes with wins, while Highfield jumped off bottom spot with another win over Shannon.

As the curtain dropped on the action from Division 1B of the Energia All Ireland League for 2024, we had plenty of drama to sign off the year. While leaders Belvo won well, Nenagh had a hard slog to get past UCC, while Trinity and Highfield scored late on to win their respective games.
