Jack Larkin completes Wexford move

After a seven game loan spell at Ferrycarrig Park from Waterford last season, Jack Larkin has signed on for a full First Division campaign with Wexford for the 2021 season.

The 20 year old won both U17 Mark Farren Cup and an U19 League title during a very successful four season stint with Waterford’s underage setup.

Speaking to WexfordFC.ie, Larkin said “I really enjoyed my loan spell last year, all the people involved in the club were great with me, especially Brian O’Sullivan and Seanie.  They all do great work behind the scenes.  I’ve had a really tough two years with injuries so to just get back out there and play was great.  I learned a lot and there’s a great group of lads in this squad.

Now 20 years old, Jack Larkin is another versatile member of the squad contributing to the midfield both in terms of attack and defense.  Fans from his new and old clubs alike will be keen to see him getting a full season of fitness, and Larkin was optimistic for the year to come.

“I’m looking forward to just doing what I love and getting lots of minutes on the pitch, hopefully plenty of goals and also getting some fans back in the ground during the year as football is nothing without them.”
