Dawson Devoy departs Bohemians for MK Dons

Bohemians today have confirmed that Dawson Devoy has left Bohs to join League One side MK Dons with the fee undisclosed.

The Midfielder, who has played at U21 International level for Ireland, departs the Phibsborough side after featuring in every fixture this season, scoring seven in the process.

Devoy got on the scoresheet in his final game for the club, scoring a late penalty in last week’s 3-1 victory at UCD.

Speaking with his new side this afternoon, Devoy said “I enjoyed my time at Bohs but if I want to take my career to the next level, this is the right move for me.”

The Meath man also going on to mention that he “can’t wait to get going in England” and that “It’s a good group here and one that looks like its going places – I can’t get wait to get going.”
