Chloe Mustaki departs Shels for Bristol City WFC

Ireland International Chloe Mustaki has followed a number of her country colleagues in recent weeks in making the move across the Irish Sea to join Bristol City WFC and will play in the FA Women’s Championship in the coming season.

The Dublin club confirmed the departure this morning, with Shels boss Noel King saying “Chloe has had a great influence on everyone at the Club leading by example in everything she has done.”

King also noted that Shels “will miss this positive influence but wish her the very best of luck in her new challenge at Bristol. Chloe has a great football mind and a lovely left foot so she will make an impression.”

Mustaki was reminiscent on her time in Dublin, speaking on this She said “My time at Shelbourne over the years has been memorable in many ways. I’ve benefitted on and off the pitch from having fantastic players and dedicated staff around me, and I can’t thank the club enough for the support they showed me throughout my injury. Wishing the team every success for the rest of the season, once a red, always a red”

This is not the first time Mustaki will be making a big move with lots of experience gained from brief spells at Bordeaux and Charlton.

Chloe has been an ever-present in the Shels side that tops the league at the moment, having featured in 14 of their 15 games so far this season.

Mustaki also made her Senior International debut earlier this year against Russia.

We at FinalWhistlie.ie wish Chloe the best on her exciting new chapter playing England.
