Film maker Oisin Moran came on the first League of Ireland podcast episode here on FinalWhistle.ie to discuss his look inside the historic walls of The Showgrounds in “Shine: A Sligo Rovers Documentary” which premiered on YouTube last week.
In this interview, part of the weekly League of Ireland Podcast on FinalWhistle.ie, Oisin discusses the origin of the idea at a family wedding and a conversation with the eventual producer Michael Moran, a cousin of his fathers.
Oisin discusses some of the characters featured in the production which looks at the history of the club over two decades from the Premier Division League victory in 1977 to the FAI Cup win in 1994.
