AIL Roundup: Division 1B Round 8

Plenty of movers and shakers in Division 1B of the Energia All Ireland League after the weekend’s events, Old Belvedere remain top of the pile four clear of Nenagh Ormond, with the pair now pulling away from the chasing pack. At the foot of the table Queen’s University picked up a five point haul to move out of the relegation zone.

Action from Division 1B of the Energia All Ireland League returns this weekend, with just two games to go until the Christmas break, the action really starts to heat up. One of the biggest clashes this weekend will be Blackrock College and UCC going head to head in Stradbrook.

Despite only three games taking place it was a high scoring weekend in the Women’s Division of the Energia All Ireland League. Railway Union, Blackrock and Old Belvedere all secured bonus point wins, with the latter holding strong ground in the top four race.
