Garryowen are back in 1A as they produced a stunning display to overcome Old Belvedere. Queens University left it late but retained their position in 1B with a win over MU Barnhall. Galway Corinthians long awaited return to 2A will happen next season and they overcome UL Bohemian, with the Limerick side moving to 2B next season.

It all comes down to this. After some heart stopping rugby in the AIL regular season we reach the final stage for clubs to book promotion or survival. Garryowen and Old Belvedere will look to move up to 1A this weekend while Queens University fight to stay in 1B against MU Barnhall.

Ballyclare will be playing in the Energia AIL for the first time next season as they recorded a 33-28 win in the Provincial League Championship Final. A late try by Ballyclare skipper Joel McBride saw them past Monkstown.
