The chance to play 2B rugby next season will be between Dolphin and Galwegians as both recorded wins in this weekend’s play-off semi-finals. Dolphin looking to preserve their 2B status looked impressive against Enniscorthy, while Galwegians who went down last season also produced some champagne rugby defeating Bruff.

AIL Roundup: Division 2C Round 18

Clogher Valley were crowned 2C Champions in their debut season. Galwegians will have to settle for the playoffs as they meet Bruff who finished third. Enniscorthy suffered defeat on the final day and finished fourth meeting Dolphin in the playoffs. Ballina were relegated to the Junior grade as Bangor have to win their play-off to stay up.

AIL Roundup: Women’s Division Round 16

With just two rounds left of the regular Women’s AIL season, second-placed Railway Union moved six points clear of Old Belvedere in the race to reach next month’s final at the Aviva Stadium. UL Bohemian confirmed already to have made one of those spots as mathematically they cannot be caught.

AIL Roundup: Division 2C Round 17

The title race in 2C will go down to the final day as Clogher Valley and Galwegians both secured bonus point wins this weekend. Bruff and Enniscorthy will both contest the play-offs this season. At the bottom it is a three horse race between Omagh Academicals, Ballina and Bangor for survival.
