AIL Preview: Men’s Round 18 Permutations

After 17 Rounds of action it all comes down to this. The final round of the normal season is upon us, the Division 2C title is yet to be determined, while across the four other Divisions of the Energia All Ireland League we have plenty of permutations for promotion and relegation, and the title race in 1A.

AIL Roundup: Division 2A Round 17

The battle for promotion in 2A took another big twist in the penultimate round of action, Greystones moved back into the top four with a one sided result against Galway Corinthians. A win for Ballymena at the bottom end of the table has given them hope of staying out of the drop zone going into the final round.

AIL Roundup: Division 2A Round 16

After a whirlwind second half comeback, Instonians were crowned Energia All Ireland League Division 2A Champions on Saturday. The top four race continues to be a close one, Cashel, MU Barnhall and Galway Corinthians all secured wins. While at the foot of the table, Navan have a single point keeping them safe after the weekend’s events.

For the third time in as many seasons, Instonians could be crowned champions this weekend, should they deliver a bonus point win at home to Greystones. Division 2A of the Energia All Ireland League has been closely fought and Cashel, MU Barnhall and Corinthians also look for points in that top four race.

AIL Roundup: Division 2A Round 15

Instonians are getting closer to being crowned champions of Division 2A of the Energia All Ireland League, with Greystones dropping points to put them out of the top four, Cashel and MU Barnhall gained ground in the promotion race, as Galway Corinthians remained in fourth spot. Navan moved outside the relegation zone thanks to a losing bonus point against Instonians.
