AIL Preview: Division 2B Week 13

2B will be as competitive as ever this weekend, with the title race heating up and also a host of teams all in the mix to be in the top four.

Belfast Harlequins V Enniscorthy, Saturday 18th February, Deramore Park, 2:30pm

Harlequins will look to bounce back from defeat last weekend and get back into the top four picture, as they host bottom placed Enniscorthy.

Defeated 36-45 also on home soil last time out the hosts come in hoping for better fortunes and looked really strong last weekend and should take a win.

Scorthy will be kicking themselves not to take anything from last weekend, they managed a losing bonus point but had a great chance in getting a win and will feel positive coming into this tie.

Galway Corinthians V Dungannon, Saturday 18th February, Corinthian Park, 2:30pm

Corinthians will be out to keep pressure on greystones but Dungannon may cause them to stumble in the title race.

The Galway side edged a classic with Harlequins last weekend, a high scoring masterclass and will hope for a similar outing against Dungannon but know how tough they can be.

Dungannon sit fourth after dropping a place last weekend, with how many teams can snatchthat spot from them, they need a win this weekend to remain on track for a top four finish,

Malahide V Galwegians, Saturday 18th February, Estuary Road, 2:30pm

Eight hosts ninth with Wegians especially looking for points to avoid the drop.

Malahide have shown their quality at times this season and will hope to produce their quality once more in toppling the side beneath them.

Galwegians have a gap between them and Enniscorthy and look to strengthen that but could bring Malahide into the mix, a result goes a long way in this tie for both.

Rainey Old Boys V Greystones, Saturday 18th February, Hatrick Park, 2:30pm

League leaders Greystones hope to remain unbeaten but Rainey will prove troublesome.

The Ulster side are hoping for points to keep onto third spot and build a positive run of form to see the season out, but to topple the leaders would be a huge statement for them.

Greystones cannot afford any slip ups with three points between them and second place, they will be hoping now to keep that streak going and not see a repeat of last year.

Sligo V Wanderers, Saturday 18th February, Hamilton Park (Strandhill), 2:30pm

Sligo and Wanderers can both see themselves move into the top four should Dungannon and Harlequins not get results.

Sligo in seventh still have a shot at promotion should they come good on home soil, defeat to Scorthy in their last tie has them out of form but they need to find it this weekend.

Wanderers have a three point gap between them and Dungannon, a win will see the Chaps go fourth if they get toppled by Corinthians.
