AIL Preview: Division 2C Week 13

After the recent break, action returns in 2C as league leaders Instonians try to remain unbeaten, while the top four race marches on elsewhere

Bruff V Instonians, Saturday 18th, February, Kilballyowen Park, 2:30pm

Bruff look to keep their pursuit alive for a top four finish as they meet the league leaders on Shannonside.

The Limerick side are just two points off Clonmel in fourth but will have their work in for them against Instonians.

Instonians have been perfect so far in 2C with 12 wins and 12 bonus points to boot, they are in an ideal spot to claim the title in the coming weeks.

Clonmel V Ballina, Saturday 18th, Ardghaoithe, 2:30pm

With pressure building behind them for their top four spot, Clonmel will be out for a big result over struggling Ballina.

Clonmel were heavily dismantled by Instonians last time out so hope to bounce back in a positive manner as they return to home soil.

Ballian need the points to get off the bottom spots in the table, Clonmel will not make it easy but they have quality if they can get the right things going points will follow.

Midleton V Bangor, Saturday 18th, February, Towns Park, 2:30pm

Midleton need a big result to ensure they do not slip into eight spot in the table, Bangor will provide a tricky test.

The Cork side have not had a favourable run in the Division, but will be out to show their class this weekend if they want to remain in 2C.

Bangor toppled Omagh last time out and will hope to use that form to build and push onwards and possibly rise up the table.

Omagh Academicals V Skerries, Saturday 18th, Thomas Mellon Playing Fields, 2:30pm

Skerries are out to move into second spot should they get a big win over Omagh and hope results elsewhere favour them.

The hosts sit seventh and need points to secure safety as anything is possible at this late stage, just three wins has them needing positive outcomes to end the season.

Skerries are doing well but will still struggle to catch Instonians even if Tullamore slip up, but a positive outcome can see them be a favourite for promotion.

Sundays Well V Tullamore, Saturday 18th, Musgrave Park, 2:30pm

Well are rock bottom and Tullamore coming to town will be another tough obstacle for them to overcome.

Well have just two wins this season and desperately need points, their hopes will be for a win this weekend but they need something to go right.

Tullamore will be out for a win after losing to Skerries in their last game, sitting in second a win would be enough but a bonus point win secures their second spot status for another week.
