Skerries remain in top spot of the Engeria Mens All Ireland Division 2C, another big win sees them remain ahead, Enniscorthy their nearest challengers also picked up a win, while Sundays Well remain in bottom place.

Bangor 12-36 Enniscorthy, Upritchard Park

Enniscorthy remain in the title picture, having achieved their fifth bonus point of the season, with a fantastic win on the road up North.

The Wexford club crossed for three first half tries to make it 19-5 at half time, Bangor managed to cross for an unconverted effort but it was all the visitors in the half.

After the restart Scorty got their bonus point with another unconverted try, the Ulstermen bounced back with a converted try to give them a chance to come back into it, but two more tries saw the Wexford outfit finish in style to take the maximum haul.

Bruff 13-16 Tullamore, Kilballyowen Park

A late penalty helped Tullamore up to third in the table, as they had to work hard to secure victory against Bruff. The hosts started strong getting an early 10-0 lead after Jack O’Grady crossed for a try, with Adam O’Dwyer adding the conversion and then a penalty.

Tullamore levelled with two unconverted tries, before O’Dwyer landed another penalty to make it a three point game. Bruff were reduced to 14 men before Tullamore levelled with a penalty of their own. It was the final kick that would seal the win.

Clonmel 0-0 Omagh Academicals, Ardgaoithe

The game between Clonmel and Omagh Academicals was cancelled due to Covid 19, the result standing at 0-0, with both teams getting two points each.

Midleton 31-10 City of Derry, Towns Park

Midleton picked up a bonus point win to give them their fourth victory of the season, the Cork club looking composed in a fantastic home performance.

They started well taking a 10-0 lead as Derry failed to handle the pressure, they managed a first score from a penalty, but Midleton took a quick penalty and ran over their third try, making it 17-3 at half time.

After the restart Derry dominated the scrum to cross for their try, Ross McLaughlin making it a seven point game, 17-10. From here it would be an exhibition performance to end the half by the hosts, two tries coming late in the half to seal a top quality performance.

Skerries 33-5 Sundays Well, Holmpatrick 

Skerries made it seven wins from seven this season, after an impressive bonus point win at Holmpatrick. Another champions style performance by the goats, their two point lead remaining at the top.

Mark Oliver and Shane Murphy crosses early for converted tries to give the hosts a 14-0 lead, the Well kicked a penalty into the corner and the resulting line out gave them their opening try, the conversion failed but they looked to build on the score, trailing 14-5 at the break.

The second half went only the way of the home side, Oliver crossing for his second try shortly after the restart to make it 19-5, before Chris Tongey completed the bonus point, midway through the half, the conversion leaving it 26-5. Ronan Mulachy added a fifth try late on, with the Goats the team to beat so far.
