The Leinster team to face Glasgow Warriors in the RDS Arena has been announced by head coach Leo Cullen. The game will start at 5.30pm and will be broadcast live on Eir Sport.
Ireland International Josh van der Flier returns to the side after returning from Six Nations duty with the Irish squad. He makes the team and will be a welcome boost to a young Leinster side without established names.
Dave Kearney and Cian Kelleher will again play on the wings, and Jimmy O’ Brien will deputise at fullback, having picked up a hamstring injury against Munster.
Inside centre, Ciaran Frawley will be joined by partner Rory O’ Loughlin at 13 on the outside after recovering from a shoulder injury.
Luke McGrath captains the side and is again joined this week by Harry Byrne at out-half.
Harry Byrne will start at out-half in place of Ross Byrne and Johnny Sexton, who are on international duty. Luke Mcgrath captains the side.
Peter Dooley, Seán Cronin, and Michael Bent’s front row while Devin Toner and Scott Fardy make the second row.
Toner will move closer to Gordan D’arcy’s record of 261 Leinster caps. Toner will be on 258.
Josh Murphy starts at blindside, while van der Flier will win his 90th cap at openside.
Scott Penny will make his debut at number eight.
