Roundup: TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Championship Round 3

Wexford recorded a six point win over Cavan to advance to the quarter-finals of the championship. Leitrim secured a home quarter-final tie with victory away to Wicklow. Wexford will also play at home in the last eight after they had a comfortable win away to Antrim. A late point from Sarah Capaldi saw Monaghan book their place in the quarter-finals with a draw against Offaly in Tullamore.

Preview: TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Championship Round 3


It’s all to play for this weekend in the Intermediate Championship. Westmeath entertain Cavan in Mullingar where a win for either side will see them advance to the quarter-finals. Offaly and Monaghan clash in Tullamore with the winner booking their place in the last 8. Wexford will hope to top the group with a win away to Antrim while Leitrim will also hope to top their group when they take on Wicklow.

Roundup: TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Championship Round 1

There were plenty of goals scored in the opening weekend of the All-Ireland Intermediate Championship. In Ballinamore nine goals were scored as Leitrim came away with a narrow one point win. Fidelma Marrinan scored four goals in Clare’s win over Monaghan while Catriona Murray’s goal proved the difference as Wexford defeated Roscommon. In the other game Down recorded a seven point win over Cavan.

Preview: Munster Senior, Connacht & Ulster Intermediate Ladies Football Championship

The Munster Ladies Senior Championship Round Robin will conclude this weekend Cork and Tipperary looking to punch a ticket to the decider. In Connacht Roscommon meet Sligo on Friday as they prepare for their final with Leitrim a week later, two semi-finals take place in the Ulster Intermediate Championship, holders Antrim meet Down, while Monaghan host Tyrone.
