Roundup: TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship Relegation Play-Offs

Donegal and Tipperary will remain Senior sides in 2025 after both secured wins in today’s relegation play-offs. In Cavan, Donegal won by a single point over Kildare while in Callan, Tipperary ran home convincing winners over Laois. It is now one last roll of the dice for Kildare and Laois to stay up as they meet next weekend.

Preview: TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship Relegation Play-Offs

Laois and Tipperary meet in Callan in the relegation qualifier. Both sides were in this situation last year but managed to retain their senior status for another year. In Cavan last year’s All-Ireland Intermediate Champions Kildare take on Donegal in the second relegation qualifier.

Preview: TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship Round 1

The All-Ireland Senior Championship gets underway this weekend. All-Ireland Champions Dublin begin the defence of the Brendan Martin Cup with a home game against Mayo on Sunday afternoon. The first game of the weekend is the meeting of Armagh and Meath in Armagh on Saturday afternoon. An interesting battle is in store as both sides will want to make a winning start to the championship.
