Roundup: TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Championship Relegation Play-Off Final

Wicklow ensured they will play Intermediate football next year as they prevailed by 17 points in Lannleire, relegating Antrim to the Junior Grade in 2025. A rematch from their 2021 Junior Final which this time again resulted in one team playing Intermediate and the other Junior for next season.

Preview: TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Championship Relegation Play-Offs


Two massive games in the relegation play-offs this weekend. The winners retain their Intermediate status for next year and the losers play in the relegation play-off final. There is an Ulster derby in Inniskeen when Antrim take on Cavan while in Crettyard, Offaly and Wicklow meet.

Roundup: TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Championship Round 3

Wexford recorded a six point win over Cavan to advance to the quarter-finals of the championship. Leitrim secured a home quarter-final tie with victory away to Wicklow. Wexford will also play at home in the last eight after they had a comfortable win away to Antrim. A late point from Sarah Capaldi saw Monaghan book their place in the quarter-finals with a draw against Offaly in Tullamore.

Preview: TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Championship Round 3


It’s all to play for this weekend in the Intermediate Championship. Westmeath entertain Cavan in Mullingar where a win for either side will see them advance to the quarter-finals. Offaly and Monaghan clash in Tullamore with the winner booking their place in the last 8. Wexford will hope to top the group with a win away to Antrim while Leitrim will also hope to top their group when they take on Wicklow.

Preview: TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate Championship Round 2

Last year’s beaten All-Ireland finalists Clare will be hoping to make it two wins from two when they welcome Offaly to Ennis on Sunday afternoon. Tyrone will hope to bounce back from last week’s defeat to Leitrim when they take on Wicklow. It was a tough one to take for the Red Hands.

Preview: Leinster Ladies Championship Round 3

This weekend will mark the final round of action in the Leinster Ladies Football Championship Round Robin Series. Dublin and Meath meet in a dress rehearsal of the senior final on Sunday, Westmeath meeting Wexford will also be a dress rehearsal for the intermediate decider. Victory for Carlow this weekend will see them advance to the Junior Final.
