In Cavan, Donegal won by a single point over Kildare while in Callan, Tipperary ran home convincing winners over Laois. It is now one last roll of the dice for Kildare and Laois to stay up as they meet next weekend.

Cork secured a home quarter-final in the championship with a two point win at home to Galway on Saturday afternoon. Armagh had to come from behind to claim a draw away to Tipperary. The result saw them advance to the quarter-finals. Kerry booked their place in the quarter-finals with a comprehensive win over Munster rivals Waterford while in Ballina Mayo defeated Kildare to claim a place in the last eight.

Kerry booked their spot in the Munster Final after Round 2 of the Munster Senior Championship, Tipperary and Cork will meet next weekend to determine who faces them. Limerick will meet Cork in the B Final as they had a convincing win over Kerry B. Leitrim also had a comfortable win over Sligo in their encounter in the Connacht Intermediate Championship.
