Mohill see off Leitrim Gaels challenge to set up SFC Final v St Mary’s

Keith Beirne continued his impressive championship scoring campaign as he helped his Mohill side to a three point victory of Leitrim Gaels in Pairc Sean this evening.

Mohill began the game the stronger of the two. It took just three minutes for Keith Beirne to make an impact as he raised the green flag.

Mohill raced out to a four point lead before Leitrim Gaels started to wake up. Stephen Goldrick brought the Carrick side back into the match, scoring four points before going off injured.

Beirne continued to show his dominance scoring all of his side's 1-5 as Mohill lead by two at the break.

Colm Moreton levelled the game in the second half finding the net but sub Ronan Kennedy did the same for Mohill.

Mohill ran out three points winners in the end.
