Fermanagh had a comprehensive win over London in Dungannon. The Erne County top Group A and will now face Limerick in the semi-finals. In the Group’s other game Sligo defeated Derry. In Group B Louth finish top with victory away to Longford. They will now face Carlow in the last four. Limerick booked their place in the semi-finals with a comfortable win at home to Kilkenny.

Carlow have two wins from two and another win on Sunday will see them in a good position to advance to the semi-finals. A win for Derry will open up Group A. Fermanagh play their first game of the championship at home to Sligo. In Group B Louth and Limerick clash in Castlebellingham with the winner advancing to the last four. Also in Group B Longford will be hoping to pick up their first win when they travel to Kilkenny on Sunday.

There were wins for Division 4 Champions Carlow and Leinster Junior Champions Louth in the opening games of the All-Ireland Junior Championship. Carlow recorded an eight point win away to Sligo while Louth overcame Kilkenny. Derry defeated London by nine points and in Longford, Limerick came from two points down at half-time to win by seven points.
