Limerick v Derry, Sat 20th Jan, Doon, 7pm

Limerick got their league campaign started last weekend with a draw at home to Limerick. They’ll hope to follow that up with another home win as they entertain Derry in Doon.

Derry lost out to Carlow last weekend and will hope to bounce back from that defeat when they travel to Limerick.

Limerick will be looking to put in a good league campaign this year but know Derry won’t make it easy for them as they look to record their first league win.

Carlow v Fermanagh, Sun 21st Jan, Lanleire, 2pm

These two sides picked up fine wins in their opening games. Carlow overcame Derry by five points while Fermanagh were comfortable winners over Longford.

Eimear Smyth was back for the Erne County and her return is a huge boost for them. Fermanagh were competitive last year and will want to repeat that this year.

Both will have aspirations of being near the top come the end of the league campaign. All points will be important in this division. It’s a neutral venue for this game.

Kilkenny v Longford, Sun 21st Jan, MW Hire Dunmore, 2pm

After suffering defeats in their opening games these two sides will want to pick up a win when they meet in Dunmore.

This is a second away game for Longford, who have five away games in the league this year. They lost out to Fermanagh last weekend. Kilkenny lost out to Leitrim last weekend.

Longford will be disappointed with how the game went against Fermanagh last weekend. They are a much changed side this year with a lot of youth. They’ll be hoping for some good luck on the road.

Leitrim v Wicklow, Sun 21st Jan, Ballinamore, 2pm

These two sides will want to be in the hunt for league success this year. Leitrim got off to a winning start last weekend against Kilkenny and will hope to record a second win.

Wicklow were held to a draw against Limerick last weekend. These two sides met in the league last year with Leitrim claiming a fine win.

Although it’s early in the league this is a big game for both sides. A win would be big for either side.
