These sides last met in the All-Ireland quarter final with Cork winning by three points. In what was a close encounter the Rebel County came out on top with late frees from Quirke.

Kerry v Waterford, Sun 28th Jan, Fitzgerald Stadium, 2pm

A Munster derby in Killarney. Reigning League champions Kerry made a winning start to the campaign with a fine win away to All-Ireland champions Dublin last Saturday evening.

Lauren McGregor scored two goals as Waterford were defeated away to Armagh on Sunday. The poor start to the game proved costly in the end.

When the sides met in the league last year Kerry had a narrow one point win over Waterford. They met again in the Munster Championship with the Kingdom winning by six points.

Meath v Dublin, Sun 28th Jan, Páirc Tailteann, 2pm

These two renew acquaintances in Navan. In recent years Dublin have a good record over their great rivals. The last time they met was the Leinster Final which Dublin won. Before that Dublin defeated Meath in their opening game in Division 1.

Last weekend Meath had an excellent win away to Mayo. Emma Duggan kicked over nine points for the Royal County. They’d hope to build on that result at home to All-Ireland Champions Dublin.

Last weekend Dublin were defeated at home by Kerry. Manager Mick Bohan has made a few changes to his starting line-up for this game with Abby Shiels and Carla Rowe among the players starting in Navan.
