Laura Heffernan (DLR Waves)

Just 24 hours after being announced as the new DLR Waves manager Laura Heffernan drops into the show to discuss her appointment, replacing Graham Kelly, being back in charge in the Women’s Premier Division and flying the flag for female coaches once again.

The League winner during her time at Wexford Youths will also be discussing her time with the U19’s in the club and where the club are hoping to go into the future.

Breifne Earley and Aaron Clarke will also be chatting through last weekend’s action and the fixtures up for decision this week including the top of the table traditional clash of Shelbourne and Peamount at Tolka with a potential top spot on offer for the victors.

Anne-Marie Ulliac (Treaty United)

This week Treaty United’s Goalkeeper Anne-Marie Ulliac joins us to discuss Treaty’s season so far, her move from Canada to Ireland, her academic and athletic career, as a clinical and sports psychologist, and what the mood is like around the camp of the Limerick-based side.  

Breifne and Aaron will be previewing this weekend’s games as well as looking back on the previous week’s action, the underage international games, and the rest of the news from the Women’s National League. 

Della Doherty (Wexford Youths)

This week Wexford Youth’s defender Della Doherty joins us to discuss the Youth’s season so far, her injury progress and what the mood is like in the camp after the 2021 FAI Cup winners seem to have found some form with wins over Shelbourne and DLR Waves in the last two weeks.

Breifne Earley and Aaron Clarke will also be looking back at last weekend’s action and previewing Saturday’s games as well as the underage international games and the visit of the Women’s World Cup Trophy to Dublin.

Jenna Slattery (Galway United)

This week Galway United and Irish U19 International midfielder Jenna Slattery joins the show to discuss Galway’s promising start to life in the Women’s Premier Division.

She’ll be chatting about the switch from Galway WFC to Galway United over the winter and the differences and similarities between the two as well as her involvement with the Irish U19’s this season.

Breifne Earley and Aaron Clarke will take a look back at the action from last week’s games as well as previewing the action coming up as Shamrock Rovers make the short journey to PRL Park to face Peamount United, a venue not unknown to a few members of their squad.

Dana Scherrif (Athlone Town)

After her match winning cameo off the bench last weekend, double goal scorer Dana Scheriff drops in to this week’s show to chat about her time at the midlands club.

She’s chatting about recovering from her season ending injury against DLR Waves last year, her recovery and enjoying life back in the league. She discusses her career path from New York to studying in the UK and taking the opportunity to join the Town last year.

Breifne Earley and Aaron Clarke also look back over the entire weekend’s action and preview the upcoming games on Saturday.

Linda Gorman

After the international break it’s back to regular league action this weekend. Breifne and Aaron chat through all the action from the Senior clashes with the States and the U19’s mixed campaign in Norway.

Aaron chats to former Ireland international Linda Gorman about the origins of the women’s game and the last 50 years of the fairer sex’s involvement in the beautiful game.

The lads will also be looking at the upcoming fixtures for this weekend’s round of games in the League of Ireland Women’s Premier Division.

Lauryn O’Callaghan (Peamount United)

This week we catch up with Lauryn O’Callaghan of early league leaders Peamount United ahead of their clash with Shelbourne at PRL Park tomorrow evening where the Pea’s hope to extend their 100% record into the fifth game of the season.

Lauryn also discusses the mood within the squad over the last few months as players moved in and out of the club and the manner in which they hit the ground running this season, the pros and cons of having her father in the dugout and how much she’s enjoying the buzz this year as part of a settled side at the top of the league.

Breifne Earley & Aaron Clarke also take a look back at the last weekend’s action and tomorrow night’s mid week round of games. The lad’s look back at Galway’s surprise victory over Shelbourne in Tolka Park last weekend, Treaty’s first win in 46 games in The Showgrounds which lifted them off the base of the table.

This week, fresh from their Intervarsities victory yesterday, we’re joined by current University of Galway and former Galway WFC manager Billy Clery to reflect on his LOI Women’s All Star side’s route to third level success this season.

A squad bursting at the seams with talent from the University of Galway with players from a number of clubs across the league emerged with a 2-0 victory over Dublin City University in what was practically a home fixture for the Dublin side in Tolka Rovers. After a baptism of fire as boss of Treaty United, their new manager Alban Hysa drops in to the podcast to chat about his side’s start to the season including their opening day 1-0 defeat to Bohemians. Show live at 9pm this evening.

Ahead of his side’s first game of the season DLR Waves Manager Graham Kelly is in the hot seat this week as he joins the lads to discuss the comings and goings in his squad for the new season at 9pm this evening.

Breifne Earley and Aaron Clarke will be chatting to Graham about how his side is shaping up just a few days ahead of their first game as they face up against a few of their old faces with a short trip to Peamount on Saturday while two old Peas will be returning to their own old stomping ground.

They’ll also be chatting about what promises to be a big year for both the club and the sport in general with the World Cup just a matter of months away.
