Cork and Kilkenny finished as the Group Winners as the Group Stage phases concluded at the weekend. In Group 1 Offaly finished as runners up and will face Meath in Thurles on Saturday in the quarter-final. Meath defeated Kerry to book that spot, with the Kingdom looking to bounce back as they meet Galway in Saturday’s second quarter-final in Thurles.

It is the final round of Group Stage action in the Glen Dimplex Intermediate All-Ireland Championship this weekend. Group 1 will see Cork and Galway tussle for top spot, while in Mullingar the same can be said for Westmeath and Offaly to advance to the knockout stages.

Kilkenny ended Kerry’s unbeaten run in the Glen Dimplex Intermediate Championship, elsewhere in Round 4 Dublin took their first win defeating Meath, while Carlow recorded another win in succession.
