Shelbourne Sign Experienced Duo

Shelbourne FC today have announced the double capture of two experienced campaigners Rachel Baynes and Chloe Mustaki for the 2021 Women’s National League season.

Baynes and Mustaki join Noel King’s side just a few weeks after the club announced the signing of Saoirse Noonan from Cork City in their bid to win back the league title from cross city rivals Peamount United.

While Chloe Mustaki has joined from English side Charlton Athletic she is no stranger in Tolka Park having played for Shel’s previously.

She had previously played for DLR Waves, Peamount United with a spell in France before she signed for the Londoners.

Chloe has played for Ireland at U17 and U19 level and it was during a senior camp when she ruptured her ACL, an injury that kept her out of the game for the last year.

Newport native Rachel Baynes played for Castlebar Celtic before moving to Galway Women’s FC. She also featured with the Irish underage squads.

The defender will hope to bring a league title back to the Reds for the season ahead.
