St. Pats boosted their European hopes with a nervy win against ten man Cork City in Turners Cross this evening.
A Mark Doyle second half header the difference between the two sides. The home side were impressive and probably deserved more than the narrow defeat as the net close on their survival hopes.

Barely a minute later Cork almost had another goal. Murphy with an open goal from the goalline cross from Worman but he doesn't make contact and the ball whizzes past the goalmouth.
