An energetic game here at Stradbrook as Wexford look on route to secure their first points of the season after Kyle Robinson's close-range header in the fourth minute. The Slaney-sider's have played a high pressing game, putting the Cabo defense under a lot of pressure for large segments of the game. Cabinteely grew into the game in the last 10 minutes of the first-half but have yet to create a clear goal-scoring chance.

Kick Off: Cabinteely get proceedings under way.

The two sides last met on matchday one of the 2021 season when Cabo defeated Wexford 2-1 at Ferrycarrig Park. Kevin Knight and Dean Casey scored for Cabo that evening while Wexford's Aberdeen loanee Luke Turner got one back in the 60th minute for the home side.

For Wexford, Paul Cleary, Paul Fox and Kyle Robinson return to the starting XI after the side was defeated 1-0 by Bray last week. New signing Lorcan Fitzgerald is on the bench for the Slaney-siders.

Harry Halwax makes his full debut in goal for Cabinteely this evening while Jen Campion makes his first senior start for the side. Keith Dalton and Kevin Knight also return to the starting XI for the White and Greens.
