FULLTIME: Bohemians maintained their perfect start to the season with an excellent performance over Dundalk at Dalymount Park. Former Dundalk player Jordan Flores hit a sublime strike in the first half to put the home side ahead. Despite a spirited period in which Dundalk searched in vain for an equaliser Declan McDaid put the Lilywhites to the sword with a clinical finish as the game reached its conclusion. Johannes Yli-Kokko did pull one back for Dundalk on his debut for the Lilywhites but it was in vain as O’Donnell will have to go back to the drawing board for his first win of the season. In front of the biggest crowd Dalymount has seen in years Declan Devine's side is sitting pretty at the top of the league.

James Akintunde could have put this to bed but his curling effort goes high over the bar.

GOAL: Johannes Yli-Kokko gets one back for Dundalk, he strikes it from the edge of the area and hits an unstoppable shot that Talbot cannot catch.

Dundalk's final switch of the night sees Rayhaan Tulloch make his debut in place of Archie Davies.

GOAL: Bohemians get their second from a breakaway, Afolabi broke down the right and fed it to McDaid and he steadied himself before hitting a low effort that flew past Sheppard.

SAVE: Johannes Yli-Kokko broke free of the Bohemians' defence and it looked to be one on one with Talbot but a diving save from James Talbot averted the danger.

CLOSE: Dundalk's first sight of the goal of note as a cross from Davies crosses into the area and Hoban's heads towards Talbot's goal but it goes wide of the mark.

Daniel Kelly is booked for a foul on Coote.

How did that not go in, a free kick from Flores and a second ball in and Sheppard spills the ball it looked as Afolbi was going to tap it home only for a fantastic block from Muller.

A brilliant run from Ali Coote and the Bohemians playmaker cuts onto his right foot and hits a perfect low effort that forces Sheppard into a diving save.

SECOND HALF: We are back underway for the second half, Bohemians restart proceedings.

HALF TIME: There wasn\'t much to report but that was until a super strike from Jordan Flores separated the sides. Dundalk has been good in passages but has no real killer edge.

WHAT A GOAL: Direct from the free kick conceded by Annesley and for the second time in two seasons Jordan Flores comes back to haunt his old club. A super strike from the former Hull City player.

Louie Annesley is very lucky here as he body-checked Dylan Connolly and he wasn't the last man which would have been interesting if he had.

Bohemians play a short corner and earn another one which is then tipped over by Sheppard, Flores's third attempt on the Dundalk goal sails over everyone and wide.

For a foul on Louie Annesley, Jonathan Afolabi enters the book.

Alfie Lewis is off and one of Dundalk's newest signing Johannes Yli-Kokko is on.

Two further injuries at the same time and we have another break in play. Afolabi looks ok to continue and it looks as if Alfie Lewis is off to get more treatment.

CHANCE: The best chance of the night so far as the ball falls kindly to Afolabi who strikes it on the half volley and it just was inches over.

A lofted ball into the Dundalk area and Afolabi charges for the ball but it is cut out by Malley and Sheppard safely gathers.

Archie Davies tries his luck from distance but it flies over the Des Kelly stand.

Dyan Connolly goes with the multicolor when black and white would have done with the over head kick from a Flores cross but it flashes wide and Bohemians get a throw-in.

The first shot of real anger for either side as Flores strikes from the edge of the area but his effort goes well wide of the mark.

Bohemians have two shots on goal both of which are blocked down, the home side is looking very threatening when they get up front and Dundalk's new look back four are holding firm.

The first corner to Bohemians after Annesley blocks Connolly's cross, it is cleared at the front post but on the secondary ball, Flores's cross is blocked down for another corner. Flores the second corner is tipped over by Sheppard.

There has been a long break in play here as Paul Doyle is down injured but he looks as if he will be ok to continue.

A bit of zip with this Dundalk team, their passing has been sharp tonight, and are looking more up for this contest tonight.
