Despite City starting better in the second half, it's Sligo who look more likely to score again. Fiona Doherty and McGuinness causing a lot of problems for the City defence, especially when they run in behind.

First booking of the day goes to Cork's Becky Cassin for tugging the jersey of Gemma McGuinness.

Mahon does well there after Nadine Seward puts in a great ball for Shaunagh McCarthy. Really good goalkeeping there from the Sligo player in what was a very tricky cross to deal with.

Ciara McNamara nearly puts the ball into her own net but Cork keeper Maria O'Sullivan manages to gather. Too many close calls for comfort from a City perspective.

Great chance for McGuinness to double Sligo's lead. A really well worked move leaves here with a chance from close range but the shot goes just wide.

The pace has picked up in the past five minutes as the game begins to flow from end to end. Orlaith Deasy does well to deny Gemma McGuinness before City go close down the other end.
