Every year they seem to have to do some sort of rebuild but he always gets results and it’s a credit to him and his players.” “All of the games ask different questions of you but you know we’ll do our homework on them, particularly the new players who we might not be so familiar with, and we’ll have a game plan out and we’ll certainly be going out to win it.”

Boyd, Mark Coyle and Dan Hawkins have been the ones to watch so far for Damien Duff’s side, while Ryan Connolly and Rudden are key players for Harps.

Harps on the other hand travelled to The Showgrounds in Sligo where a 3-1 loss was inflicted upon them. There Aidan Keena had a hattrick wrapped up for The Bit O’Red by the 47 minute and a Luke Rudden consolation goal wasn’t enough to mount a comeback for the Donegal men.

The last time the pair met they shared the spoils as they played out a 1-1 draw where Ciaran Kilduff and Barry McNamee were on the scoresheet.
