Down the other end Curran’s effort went wide in the 36th minute while Corbally’s long-range shot just went inches wide in the 38th minute.
Aaron Robinson’s strike from distance hit the crossbar in the 41st minute. Town were made rue not getting as a second as in the 43rd minute visitors drew level through Curran.
Verdon had a chance but shot at Brady in the 48th minute while Corbally brought an excellent save out of the Treaty netminder in the 59th minute.
In the space of three minutes Christopher had two chances for the visitors. In the 71st minute his free just went wide and minutes later he forced Cox into making a superb save. Marc Ludden hit a free in the 78th minute, it met the head of substitute Jack Lynch at the far post but he directed his effort over the bar. Substitute Success Edogun played the ball to Christopher in the 88th minute, he got into a good position but his shot came off the post.
