Treaty have pushed since going two down, but haven't come close. Athlone holding the fort well.

Goal! Athlone have a second on the hour mark after an Oluwa cross finds Lennon and he gets a tap in after an initial brilliant save by Brady!

Treaty have a potential penalty call as Oisin Duffy commits a foul right on the edge of the area and is booked, although it was close. Ludden fires the resulting free right into the wall.

Dolia finds Oluwa with a long clearance and he gets on the end of it and bears down on the Treaty goal, but slices his effort wide.

Chance for Treaty. Armshaw skins Jarlath Jones out wide and his cross finds Sucess Edogun at the back post, who can only find the side net.

Dolia slips though Oluwa on the left hand side of the box but from a tight angle, Brady saves. Nearly a quick two.

Goal! Athlone take a deserved lead after Oisin Duffy wins the ball high and plays through Oluwa, who slots it by Brady!

Hit another lull in the play. Game has cooled significantly.

Success Edogun is played through over the top and bearing down on Minogue, can't beat him. Good goalkeeping.

Chances galore all of a sudden. Oluwa shrugs off his man on the left wing, bears down on the area and fires a ball to Dolia, who doesn't get a good enough touch. Adam Lennon picks up the pieces and fires a ball back across, but it's blocked and Brady collects.

Hickey has his pockets picked in his own box and Dean George takes it, turns and shoots, but Minogue saves his effort.

Walsh deals with a long ball poorly and allows Oluwa to run through, but he takes a poor touch and Brady comes out and collects it.

Athlone hit Treaty on the counter. Lennon nicks the ball off Ludden, plays it to Oluwa, who threads through Gary Armstrong. Was worked onto his weaker left foot and his final effort was tame, however.

Treaty are coming into this one in good form, having won four of their last five. Athlone on the other hand are seeking a third win all season and were hammered 6-1 by Cork last time out. Tonight will be a tough challenge for the hosts.
