Galwegians have stated their claim for a spot in the Plate Final after a resounding win over Suttonians.

Wegians moving up to third spot after their big 56 point margin puts them ahead of Blackrock

Railway Union 55-17 UL Bohemian, Park Avenue

Railway picked up another emphatic win. their eight of the season as they ended their cup run unbeaten waiting UL in the final.

It was a competitive tie with the sides locking horns as Railway were ahead 17-14 at the break, but a penalty was all UL could conjure up in the second half as their unbeaten run came to an end.

Cooke 10-34 Blackrock College, Shaw’s Bridge

Blackrock secured their fourth win of the cup but still are not assured a spot in the plate final, despite a big winning margin.

Rock needed to keep their chances alive and a big result on the road in Belfast kept them ahead of Wicklow.

Old Belvedere 54-7 Ballincollig, Ollie Campbell Park

Old Belvedere will be fighting for silverware in the cup as they got their result while Cooke suffered defeat.

Belvo wrapped up a big win over Ballincollig assured of a spot in the shield final, with one of Galwegians, Blackrock or Wicklow to meet them.
