Clonmel remain unbeaten as their tie had to be moved to the CBS High School ground as their pitch was frozen.

They started brighter, getting into the corner for an unconverted try before Dylan Cadogan landed a penalty for an 8-0 lead. It was more of the same for the remainder of the ha;f, another unconverted try and Cadogan penalty making it 16-0 by the break.

A strong scrum saw them power for their third try after the restart, with Well just unable to get going, the bonus point arrived after a lineout was taken well and their driving maul powered over for a 26-0 lead. Well did ger on the board right as the game would finish to take a consolidation score back to Cork.

Omagh Academicals 15-42 Instonians, Thomas Mellon Playing Fields

Instonians kept up their impressive winning run, with another bonus point performance to topple their Ulster neighbours.

Neil Sualters continued his run of try scoring to extend the visitors lead midway through the half, another converted effort would not be their last act of the half, Paul Pritchard getting over for the third before the interval to lead the score 21-5 in Stones favour.

The bonus point try arrived a short while into the second half with Prinsloo getting his brace, Omagh hit back with an unconverted try, but further scores from Pritchard and Rhys O’Donnell moved Stones ahead 42-10. Omagh looked to take something from the game as they crossed for their third try, but they just could not take the bonus point, Stones defence showing their strength for a large majority of the tie.

Skerries 27-20 Bangor, Holmpatrick

Skerries responded well to defeat the week prior to defeat Bangor, but had to endure a nervy end to the second half in the process.

They were dominant in the opening half picking up a bonus point on the way to leading 22-5 at the break, they stayed on top in the second half as Dave Goodman moved them 27-5 clear.

Back came Bangor with three unanswered tries in a row to get their bonus point in the costal venue, they would have an answer after the third managing to hold firm to take the win in the end.
