Down picked up their first win of the campaign with a one point win away to Sligo. Natasha Ferris’ pointed free two minutes from time earned the Mourne County all three points. Offaly came from six points down at the break to beat Louth by one point in Darver. Róisín Cockram’s penalty proved to be the difference.

The big game of the weekend in Division 3 is the top of the table clash between Clare and Roscommon in Cusack Park, Ennis. Both sides have a 100% record with the Banner just ahead on score difference. This has all the makings of being an entertaining clash. Offaly currently lie 3rd in the table and they travel to take on Louth in Darver. The Faithful County are unbeaten so far and will hope to continue that.

Clare once again impressed as they made it two wins from two in Division 3. Fidelma Marrinan with 2-03 for Wayne Freeman’s side. A goal from Ciara Banville earned Wexford their first win of the campaign as they came from behind to beat Down in Newry.
