Smyth’s first half goal proved to be the difference as the Erne County moved to the top of the table. Carlow moved up to third in the table with a comprehensive win over bottom side Kilkenny.

Preview: Lidl NFL Division 4 Round 4

Second place Fermanagh welcome leaders Leitrim to Donagh in the big game in Division 4 this weekend. Leitrim have a 100% record so far this year and have been clinical in front of the goals. Fermanagh will hope home advantage can help them claim the three points. Limerick lie just behind Fermanagh on score difference and they have a home game against Longford. It’s a fourth away game for the Midlanders who are looking for a second win in this division.

Preview: Lidl NFL Division 4 Round 3

After getting their first points on the board last weekend, Longford will hope to build on that but they are facing a Carlow side who will be buoyed up by their 14 point comeback against Fermanagh last weekend.

Leitrim will hope to make it three wins from three and maintain their 100% record when they travel to take on Derry. Derry still await their first points of the campaign

Preview: Lidl NFL Division 4 Round 2

Leitrm got off to a winning start to Division 4 last weekend and will hope to record a second win when they entertain Wicklow in Ballinamore. The Garden County will provide a tough test for Johnny Garrity’s side. Carlow and Fermanagh both had opening day wins and they clash in Dunleer. With Eimear Smyth back Fermanagh will be in the hunt for silverware.
