An excellent first half display helped Armagh to a two point win over Galway and in doing so make it three wins from three for the Orchard County. Galway, last year’s beaten Division 1 finalists have yet to register a point. A strong second half display saw Dublin come from nine points down to defeat Mayo by seven and in doing so pick up their first win of the league.

With both sides losing their opening games of the league campaign, the clash of Galway and Mayo will prove an interesting one. These two have had memorable battles over the last number of years.
In Navan, Dublin will look to bounce back from their opening day defeat to Kerry, when they take on Meath. The Royal County made a good start to the league with an eight point win away to Mayo.

The meeting of the All-Ireland finalists is the big fixture in the opening round of Division 1. All-Ireland Champions Dublin welcome Division 1 Champions Kerry to Parnell Park in what will be an intriguing battle. It may be very early in the season but this will be an interesting game. The other big game in the Division is Cork and Galway. There were five goals in this fixture last year with Galway winning by two points.
